our creative community.
Underpinning our Studio's philosophy is the aim to introduce students to the joys of the theatre and the performing arts, in a hardworking but friendly environment. Through class participation and performance experience, we aim to boost confidence, increase creativity and give students important life skills. Our classes are designed to develop students’ technical skills in their chosen craft (dance, drama, or voice), as well as develop their self-awareness, poise and well-being. We strongly believe that the skills developed through participation in the studio programs are skills for developed for life, and not just the stage.
all about us
Our studio provides tuition across a broad scope of theatrical skills, with musical theatre and drama a strong focus. To support these streams, we offer classes in all dance genres from classical ballet and contemporary, to jazz, tap and hip-hop, further developing our 'triple-threat' performers. Australian dance syllabus is used, following a curriculum that covers performance history, anatomy and stagecraft.
Curtain Call is divided into junior and senior schools, giving students maximum opportunities during our public performances. Each school stages their own full scale Musical production, with the senior school producing a short season of 3 or 4 performances, which cultivates discipline and stamina, providing invaluable stage experience. Dividing the studio into two schools, offers our younger students more stage time, and greater opportunities to shine.
We invite you to join us - it's never too late to be part of our creative and inclusive performing arts community.
